We're revolutionizing dental scheduling with AI technology that removes complexity rather than adding to it. Every feature reflects our core values and real practice experience.
At Dental AI, our mission is to revolutionize the way dental practices schedule and deliver care. By harnessing artificial intelligence designed specifically for dentistry, we simplify one of the most complex parts of practice management—scheduling treatment. Our platform empowers teams to save time, maximize efficiency, and focus on what truly matters: providing exceptional patient care.
Every feature is designed to help you spend more time on patient care and less on scheduling hassles.
Built by a practicing dentist who understands the daily challenges of running a busy office.
Artificial intelligence designed specifically for the unique needs of dental practices.
These principles guide everything we do, from product development to customer support.
Tools built by a dentist, for dentists.
Patient trust is sacred; privacy and HIPAA compliance come first.
Technology should remove complexity, not add to it.
Work smarter, not harder, while preserving clinical excellence.
We grow alongside the practices we serve.
DAI improves with every update to meet tomorrow's challenges.
Every line of code, every feature decision, and every customer interaction reflects these values. When you choose Dental AI, you're partnering with a team that truly understands your practice because we've walked in your shoes.
Dental AI started with a problem every dentist knows too well: the schedule.
Like most dentists, I wanted my schedule to be both efficient and productive. Over the years, I tried everything: block scheduling, provider-time scheduling, even a hybrid of both. Each had its strengths, but none solved the real problem: teaching schedulers how long different procedure mixes actually take.
Schedulers mean well, but they bend to patient demands. The result? I often walked in to find a day that looked full on paper but wasn't productive—or worse, a day stacked so tight I had to put the pedal down just to keep from running behind.
One crown may take 30 minutes with one doctor, 20 with another, 10 with another. Add in quadrant dentistry or full-mouth cases, and the puzzle becomes impossible for a front office team to piece together consistently.
For solo dentists, this becomes a daily grind—when the schedule breaks, there's no one else to absorb the stress. It's easy to feel burned out and wonder if there's a better way. For group practices, the problem is different but just as painful: multiple providers, all with different speeds, stacked into a schedule most PMS software isn't even built to handle. One scheduling error, and inefficiency ripples across the whole team.
That's where the idea for Dental AI was born. Instead of forcing rigid templates or spreadsheets onto unpredictable realities, what if the schedule could actually learn—from the way each provider works, from the types of procedures, and from the complexity of each patient?
Dental AI isn't just another software. It’s the system built to solve the scheduling challenges of modern dentistry—whether you're tired of grinding alone or ready to make your group practice run like a team instead of a guessing game.
When the schedule breaks, there's no one else to absorb the stress. Every inefficiency, every overtime situation—it all lands on your shoulders. The daily grind of fixing what should work automatically.
Multiple providers with different speeds, all stacked into schedules most PMS software isn't built to handle. One scheduling error creates inefficiency that ripples across the entire team.
Early in his career, Dr. Rich Leung thought he had the answer. He built his own block scheduling system and believed it was the end-all solution. For years it worked—until it didn't. Later, he tried provider-time scheduling, but that created its own inefficiencies.
No matter how skilled the front office team was, human error and unpredictable patient needs always seemed to break the schedule. Along the way, Dr. Leung noticed something important: many of his colleagues weren't even using blocks at all.
One close friend from dental school shared the same frustrations—overbooked days, unpredictable production, and staff overwhelmed by the juggling act—yet he'd never touched block scheduling. Different methods, same problems. That's when it clicked: whether you used blocks, provider times, or nothing formal at all, the pain was universal.

As practices grew—200+ new patients a month, multiple associates, and an oral surgeon—the cracks widened. Different doctors prepped crowns at different speeds, treatment complexity varied by patient, and full-mouth rehab or quadrant dentistry often turned into high-stakes puzzles that could derail the entire day.
The traditional fix was a massive spreadsheet of procedure times by provider— but that was impossible to manage consistently.
Dr. A needs 30 minutes for a crown, Dr. B needs 20, Dr. C can finish in 10 or less—and multi-procedure cases require different strategies than single-tooth ones.
The breakthrough came with a simple question: What if the system itself could learn? What if scheduling could adapt in real time—recognizing provider differences and treatment complexities?
System learns each provider's pace and adjusts automatically
Scheduling adjusts based on treatment complexity
Accounts for different speeds and specialties
Most software is tested in theory. Dental AI was battle-tested in the trenches of two thriving practices.
